Idaho Springs Public Library

The Idaho Springs branch of the Clear Creek County Library District, on 14th Avenue, with storytimes, a monthly book group and Friends book sales.

The Idaho Springs Public Library is one of two branches of the Clear Creek County Library District; the other is the John Tomay Memorial Library in Georgetown, and the district’s Local History Archives in Georgetown open Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment. The district’s programs page lists an Idaho Springs book group, storytimes and, this October, a Halloween BOOkfest with a free children’s book.

Holiday closures the district posted for this month: all branches closed Monday, October 12 (Indigenous Peoples’ Day) and Saturday, October 24 (staff training). The address, phone and hours were read on the district’s Locations and Hours page on 10 October 2026, which also carried those dated notices.
