Clear Creek Metropolitan Recreation District
The county recreation district's rec center and pool on 12th Avenue, open seven days a week, with fitness classes, open swim and the district's ghost tours, fun runs and festivals.
The Clear Creek Metropolitan Recreation District (CCMRD) runs the recreation center and pool at 98 12th Avenue. The rec center is open weekdays 6:30 am to 8:30 pm and weekends 10 am to 4 pm. Pool hours on weekdays are adult swim 7 to 10 am (to 9 am on Fridays) and open swim 10 am to 7:30 pm, with the lap pool closed Wednesdays from 5 to 7:30 pm; weekends are open swim 10 am to 4 pm. Holiday hours on the district’s page: closed New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day; 10 am to 4 pm on July 5 and Halloween; 6:30 am to 5 pm on Thanksgiving Eve and New Year’s Eve; 9 am to 8:30 pm the Friday after Thanksgiving.
The district also runs the autumn Downtown and Cemetery Ghost Tours, the Halloween Zombie Fun Run and the November Pumpkin SMASH, listed on this guide’s events page.
