Freeride Bike Shop rents mountain bikes, repairs them, and runs lessons and guided rides from its shop on Colorado Boulevard, which it places near the Miner Street restaurants and shops and the Mighty Argo cable car. The Mighty Argo, which rents no bikes itself, names Freeride on its Virginia Canyon page for downhill and enduro rentals two minutes from the lift, and describes the park’s trails as intermediate and above.
Address, phone and hours were read on the shop’s home page on 10 October 2026; the page shows nothing dated. The City of Idaho Springs’ visitor site and the Mighty Argo’s Virginia Canyon page, both read the same day, list it at the same address, the second, independent sources that it is operating.
